Oscar nominated director Darren Aronofsky is doing the first Loutallica video

Darren Aronofsky is a confident guy, and he’s putting his reputation to the test with the news that he’ll direct the first video from the recently released, massively scolded Lou Read and Metallica collaboration Lulu.
He’ll reportedly get behind the lens to direct a video for the song “Iced Honey.”
Lou Reed is excited and says he hopes the video, which is expected out by the end of the month, will be his Black Swan, referring to Aronofsky’s 2010 Oscar nominated adaptation of Swan Lake. Metallica Lars Ulrich tells the Associated Press that working with Aronofsky is “living the dream.”
For Aronofsky, “Iced Honey” marks his first attempt at a music video. Good luck, buddy. [via Rolling Stone]
