The Smashing Pumpkins have been making questionable music and business decisions for some time now, but it’s still hard to forget their earlier legacy.

As the band preps to reissue classic albums Gish and Siamese Dream with previously unheard demos, live recordings, updated mixes, and a concert DVD, we get an early listen to some of those demos.

Included are a 2011 mix of “I Am One,” a broadway rehearsal demo of “Today,” a rehearsal demo of “Rocket,” and an acoustic mix of the still stunning “Disarm.” 107.7 The End has streams of them all; go here to check them out.

Keep watch for lots more uncovered goods—EMI plans to re-release the bands entire 1991-2000 catalog in the same manner by the end of 2013. [via 107.7 The End]
