When Jonathan Davis isn’t writing dozens of songs about how much he hates his dad, he’s giving interviews about how much he hates everyone else. His new targets? Korn fans. In an interview with Kerrang, Davis says that he expects people to hate Korn’s upcoming, dubstep inspired album The Path Of Totality.

“People are going to be pissed about this record. That’s made me even more excited about it. I don’t give a flying fuck what people think. We can’t win with Korn fans. Some are so stuck in 1994,” he said.

“Everybody calls us the godfathers of nu-metal and I’m fucking tired of that. We don’t want to join the nostalgia circuit. Us, Limp Bizkit, Staind or some shit like that. Fuck that,” he continued.

So, who else does Davis hate? Why, poor people of course!

“I wish everyone would shut the fuck up and have some fun. Every day I’ve got to hear about unemployment and people starving,” said Davis, talking about the inspiration behind the Skrillex accompanied “Get Up!”

Poor Jonathan Davis. Stop complaining, poor people, and just get the fuck up already!

Korn’s The Path Of Totality, which Davis dub(steps) as the invention of “future metal,” drops December 6th. [via NME]
