Johnny Marr to guest star on Portlandia

As if season two of Portlandia wasn’t already sounding awesome enough (on it’s own, even) with appearances from St. Vincent and Kristen Wiig and tons of others, Vulture reported a few days ago (I don’t know how we missed this) that former Smiths and Modest Mouse guitarist Johnny Marr will also show his mug on an episode.

“I don’t want to give away too much, but Johnny Marr from the Smiths [will be on],” show co-star Fred Armisen said Vulture. Totally gave it all right away. But we’re fine with this spoiler alert. “[Marr]’s a brilliant guitar player, and he’s really funny, too,” Armisen continued, but said that his role would be non-musical.
