Watch two quick teasers for the upcoming Roots album, "Undun"

The Roots are planning to put out a new video teaser every Tuesday in the weeks leading up to the release of their next album, Undun, and following last week’s quick but brutal clip for “Make My” is “Tip the Scale,” a pretty chilling, if equally brief, depiction of a kid who “becomes a criminal, but wasn’t born a criminal.”
Though they’re just clips, each teaser paints a pretty telling picture of the dark subject matter expected on Undun. But, perhaps more importantly, they’re a reminder of just how powerful the Roots can be when not occupied by the patterns of late night television.
Undun is out December 6th via Def Jam Records.
