If you haven’t already noticed, the music world is very much in full-on Feist mode; her much-anticipated new album Metals came out yesterday, and though her show in a Harlem church may have been a surprise, her performance on Letterman last night wasn’t. You can watch the footage above.

Unlike in the Harlem footage, Feist played a song from the new album (naturally), “How Come You Never Go There,” and in keeping with the non-surprises, sounded lovely.

Catch more of Metals live on one of Feist’s upcoming tour dates.
