In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Liam Gallagher is already saying he wouldn’t mind reuniting with his brother to take Oasis on the road for the 20th anniversary of the release of (What’s The Story) Morning Glory.

“In 2015, if we can put our shit aside, we can tour and play the album in its entirety for the 20th anniversary,” he says. “I’d be up for that, if it’s on our terms.”

Brother Noel, who quit and effectively broke up the band in September 2009, been mentioning this for a while now, and if all of us are as smart as I like to believe, this tour has probably been in the works for a long time anyway, band break-up or not. Because let’s face it: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

As if you needed an example, the Stone Roses, who of course recently announced their reunion, sold 222,000 tickets for their shows at Heaton Park, Manchester from June 29 – July 1st, in 68 minutes. No doubt an Oasis “reunion” would do the same. [via Rolling Stone]
