Gaslight Anthem cover The Who, Tom Petty, and others on new EP, plus listen to their Pearl Jam cover

Gaslight Anthem have been on the back burner as frontman Brian Fallon focuses on his Horrible Crowes project, but the ‘Anthem have announced a new recording, sort of: they’ll be releasing an iTunes exclusive EP, and will feature new versions of their own songs, an interview, and covers of songs by the likes of Tom Petty, the Who, and Pearl Jam.

The EP won’t be released until December 13, but Rolling Stone has an exclusive first listen to the band’s cover of Pearl Jam’s “State of Love and Trust,” which you can listen to over here.
