Watch the new Dan Mangan video for "Rows Of Houses"

Today marks the release of Dan Mangan’s highly anticipated third album Oh Fortune, and with it, we get the first video from it as well. Watch the AUX premiere of “Rows Of Houses” above.

If the animated clip feels reminiscent of Mangan’s video for “Road Regrets,” it’s with good reason: both were done by director Jon Busby for Blatant productions in Vancouver (he’s also done clips for Kathryn Calder and the New Pornographers).

But as much as the clips are the same, they, and their songs, are just as different: “Rows Of Houses” is a perfect indication of the darker, denser sound Mangan explores on the expectation-defying Oh Fortune. One listen to the stirring boom of the chorus on this, and you’ll forget all about some certain love-seeking Robots.
