Mastodon’s last year has been defined by the band’s newly emphasized sense of humour, which becomes all the more apparent in their brand-spankin’ new video for “Curl of the Burl.”
In it, a drugged out lumberjack plays with shadow puppets, grows extra hands, does weird stuff with a pillow before getting turned into a tree trunk by a group of titty flashing temptresses. So, y’know, a regular Saturday night. Watch the video for “Curl of the Burl” up top. I guess its last few seconds are slightly NSFW, so, like, be weary of that or something.
Mastodon’s new album The Hunter is out Tuesday.
