Loutallica went and released the first full song off their upcoming collaboration over the weekend and, honestly guys, what the hell is this?
“The View” is the same song we got to sample last week, and as those brief thirty seconds indicated, its a pretty awkward sounding affair. Of course it sounds like anyone would expect a joint venture between Lou Reed and Metallica to sound: jarring, kind of heavy but with an old man talking out of rhythm over-top of it all. If you think this sounds harsh, just listen to the track below. You’ll see. Or hear. Whatever.
Lulu comes out November 1st in North America. And no, unfortunately the collaboration is unfortunately not actually called Loutallica.
