Adult Swim officially announces Odd Future's new reality show, "Loiter Squad"

Rumours of an Adult Swim produced Odd Future show have been in the pipeline since the hip-hop collective exploded onto the scene last summer, but yesterday it finally got a title and a release date(ish): Loiter Squad, premiering sometime early next year.

The show won’t be a cartoon, like some speculated, but instead a 15 minute reality show promising “sketches, man on the street segments, pranks and music from Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All.”

So, basically, expect a lot of mediocre skateboarding, swearing and segments of teens yelling “swag” until they blow out their voices out. Loiter Squad is being produced by the crudely named Dickhouse Entertainment, the brains (if you can call them that) behind Jackass, which explains why we ran into Lance Bangs this past SWSW. Bangs said he’d been filming the crew for months.

The cast should feature all of the Odd Future collective and some of their friends (probably not Earl or Steve Albini, though)
