The Hold Steady covers Huey Lewis & The News

The A.V. Club’s Undercover Series was made for suckers like us who like bands covering other bands. We’ve written about some of them before, and today we love another: The Hold Steady covering Huey Lewis and the News’ “The Power of Love.”

Apparently Marnie Stern had previously recorded this cover, but due to some technical difficulties, the session was unusable, so the Hold Steady scooped it up. You could mute it and watch Craig Finn be his wonderful animated self. You can watch it above. [via A.V. Club]
