There’s two Jeff Buckley biopics in the Hollywood pipeline and the second one finally has its star…Spider-Man, who beat out Edward the vampire for the titular role.

No, seriously.

Deadline is reporting that Reeve Carney, star of the troubled Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark broadway fiasco production has been cast as Buckley, meaning Robert Pattinson didn’t get the part. Bad news for Twilight fans but good news for anyone who’s seen or heard Carney—he can definitely sing and, fittingly enough, he actually kinda looks like Buckley.

The Buckley biopic in question doesn’t have a title yet, but the other one, Greetings From Tim Buckley, won’t feature any licensed music. Both will probably be out in a year or two.
