Okay if you are like six years old, hold onto your hats because this is going to be the scariest thing ever. And now that we are done deflecting the fact that this does sound amazingly terrifyingly fun, please read on.

Set to open at Universal Studios Hollywood in time for Halloween, the “Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare” maze is said by the singer to be a “living horror movie within screaming distance of the sound stages where horror movies first began.” In Rolling Stone, he goes on to say that the maze will include decapitations, electric chairs, a giant snake, and an insane asylum. All simulated, of course. We think. Who knows what can happen on Halloween, it’s so evil!

The whole Halloween series kicks off on September 23rd. It will also include two mazes from the creepy brain of Eli Roth, one based on Hostel and another, the forthcoming movie The Thing: Assimilation.
