With Steve Jobs’s resignation of CEO of Apple this week also came tons of commentary about how he revolutionized music listening. And they’re correct.

And as Advertising Age pointed out, the partnership Apple had with ad agency TBWA proved groundbreaking as well, not only for Apple products but some of the artists who found their music in Apple commercials. They list ten of the most memorable ones, including, of course, Feist’s “1, 2, 3, 4” and even U2’s “Vertigo”—not exactly an obscure band, but nonetheless, it became their biggest hit of the last seven years.
