Peter Bjorn and John, Owen Pallett, Real Estate cover The Strokes' 'Is This It'

At the end of the month, The Strokes’ prestigious debut album Is This It turns 10-years-old and in celebration, Stereogum has rounded up a batch up musicians from Owen Pallett to The Morning Benders to provide covers of each of the record’s 11 tracks (including “New York City Cops,” which was only included on the album’s UK release).

The free download is called STROKED: A Tribute To Is This It and offers a few unexpected covers giving fans of one of the most popular albums of last decade a different perspective and perhaps hear what The Strokes would sound like had they never listened to The Velvet Underground’s Loaded.
