No Doubt working with Major Lazer on new album

Sorry that headline didn’t say “No Doubt finally done new album here it is” like we wish it did, because they’ve been working on this thing for a while and we’re sorta antsy. Gwen quit her solo career but is now busy making department store clothes for kids, so that doesn’t help.

An update on recording, though, as a tweet appeared on the band’s account last night showing them in the studio with Diplo and Switch, aka Major Lazer.

The band is known for their love of dancehall, so it’s a fitting match, and we remain hopeful that the band will deliver on their ten-year wait for a new album.
