Every few months we get a dose of new Smashing Pumpkins (Billy Corgan) tracks from the band’s ongoing 44-song Teargarden By Kaleidyscope project, but we’ve also learned some of the songs will be grouped together for separate albums.

“I still stand by my view that I don’t think albums are particularly relevant at this time,” Corgan told fans via Facebook. “That may change. But as far as making music, from a writing point of view, it’s really going to focus me to put a group of songs together that are supposed to go together.”

One of the new albums has just been unveiled and is called Oceania, The Pumpkins’ ninth studio effort. It’s set to come out later this year and you can view the tracklist below. Corgan posts band updates frequently on his Twitter (we got the tracklist from there) so it might not hurt to give him a follow if you want to stay informed.

‘Four Winds Chime’
