Watch Basia Bulat perform a new song on a hilltop in San Francisco

It’s been almost a year and half since Basia Bulat released her stellar sophomore album Heart of My Own, and it feels like she’s barely taken a day off since; with tour dates all over North America and Europe—not to mention inclusion in the Juno Awards’ puzzling Best New Artist nominee category earlier this year—we’ve started to wonder if she’ll ever stop to breathe.

Music website Yours Truly has captured a lovely video of Bulat performing a new song called “It Can’t Be You”; filmed last fall in San Francisco, the clip features Bulat atop a sparse hillside, the sky big enough to look like it could swallow her whole.
