Stream the new Death Cab For Cutie album 'Codes and Keys'

There have been plenty of previews of the upcoming Death Cab For Cutie record, and now Codes and Keys is available for streaming via NPR until its official release next Tuesday.
It’s a decidedly scaled-back effort, particularly in comparison to 2008’s dark, guitar-dense, live-to-tape Narrow Stairs. The deliberate shift in tone was executed as skillfully as you’d expect from the indie rock stalwarts, and it’s still dripping with that Ben Gibbard goopiness you might not want to hear elsewhere, but is the exact reason you still ever want to listen to Death Cab.
