Rob Zombie directs an ad for laundry detergent in Vancouver

Musician and film director/producer Rob Zombie has apparently never been tied down to one specific style or genre, but one of his latest projects is surely bound to even surprise some of his diehard fans. The House of 1000 Corpses/The Devil’s Rejects director and former lead vocalist for White Zombie has directed a commercial for a laundry detergent.
“About three weeks ago I was up in Vancouver shooting a commercial for [laundry detergent] Woolite. It was sort of strange, but I love doing stuff like that,” Zombie told Noisecreep.
“An ad agency from Australia had reached out to me about doing the commercial and I had originally turned it down because I was so busy,” he added. “But then some things opened up and then I was able to do it. I’m glad I did.”
Currently Zombie is also working on a new psychological horror film entitled The Lords of Salem that’s set to start shooting this September.
