Since releasing her Tom Waits covers album Anywhere I Lay My Head in 2008, which featured David Bowie, members from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and production by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, actress Scarlett Johansson has been featured on a few soundtracks as well as a collaborative album with Pete Yorn.

She can now add Massive Attack to her list of bands she’s worked with as The Guardian reveals Johannson has collaborated with the English Trip hop band on the soundtrack for the upcoming Mexican film Dias de Gracia (Days of Grace).

Directed by Everardo Gout, the soundtrack will also feature new music by Atticus Ross, Nick Cave, Warren Ellis and Japanese composer Shigeru Umebayashi (we can only assume this is going to be very ‘dark’).

The film tells the story of murder and kidnapping in three different segments taking place during a different World Cup final in 2002, 2006 and 2010. It premiered this week at the Cannes film festival.
