Vocalist Julian Casablancas has taken time out from his tour with The Strokes to record a cover of Buddy Holly’s “Rave On” for a compilation album due out June 28. Previously we reported that the album, titled Rave On Buddy Holly, features some impressive covers by the likes of Florence And The Machine, The Black Keys, She & Him, Modest Mouse, Lou Reed, and Patti Smith among others.
