Tomorrow, May 10, marks the release of the tenth studio album from Canadian indie-rock lifers Sloan; The Double Cross also marks the band’s 20th year together, a career captured in detail here. In celebration, a series of tribute videos will be released, the first of which features actor Jason Schwartzman, Broken Social Scene’s Kevin Drew, Kids in the Hall’s Dave Foley and more recounting the first time they ever heard the hugely influential band.

This first installment of Sloan’s 20th Anniversary tribute video series also features: Stephan Brogen of Degrassi, Dave Foley of Kids In The Hall, Buck 65 aka Rich Terfry, Ian D’Sa of Billy Talent, Sebastien Grainger of Death From Above 1979, Murray Lightburn and Natalia Yanchak of The Dears, Jason Falkner, Butch Walker, and K-OS.
