It’s been five years since UK singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse put out her Grammy Award-winning sophomore record Back To Black, and although a new album is reportedly finished, those eager to hear it will have to wait until Winehouse gets out of rehab… again.

According to People (via NME), the singer’s label says the new album is finished and was about to get an official release date when it happened.

One source explained: “She has finally finished the album and it’s ready to go. They [Island Records] were just about to finalize a release date and then this happened. She is back in rehab for the foreseeable future so it is just a question of waiting and seeing now. But there is no way they can give a specific release date until they know when she is likely to be out.”

It is believed that Winehouse entered rehab in preparation for her three upcoming European Festival tour dates this summer. We’ll keep you posted on the currently untitled album’s pending release.
