Antony Hegarty has always thrived on his uniquely tortured delivery, the uneasiness of a vibrato that’s unparalleled—for better or worse. In “Swanlights,” the new video from Antony and the Johnsons, that unease is translated into lens flares, quick pans and overlays as a young lady runs, tearful and clearly terrified, away and towards the unseen.

The video was directed by Antony’s sister, Sara Hegarty, and features clips from the upcoming film “The Last Hymn.” “Swanlights” is the title track off both Antony and the Johnsons’ album of the same name, released last October, and EP, due out on April 26^th. Watch the video below. [Via Pitchfork]
