In 1991, Smashing Pumpkins released their debut album Gish. They followed that up with Siamese Dream and before releasing their mega double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, they put out a record of previously unreleased tracks and b-sides called Pisces Iscariot. According to Rolling Stone, the band (or whoever owns the rights to the music) will reissue all of these albums later this year.

Apparently this will be the first installment of a plan to reissue all their back catalogue over the next three years with bonus material and other goodies appearing on each of the deluxe editions.

The reissues for the albums Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Adore and The Aeroplane Flies High will come out in 2012. A new hits collection is also expected to emerge a year later.
