Is it just us, or is this new Death Cab album really sounding not half bad?

Codes and Keys isn’t out until May 31 and we’ve already heard and watched the live filming of the video for first single “You Are A Tourist,” and now another track called “Some Boys” is online for listening.

If you take out that weird panting, it’s a solidly melodic, reverb-soaked bounce through ethereal synthy-soundscapes and restrained but effective guitar swells. Could it be that this is the album the band masters that balance? Only time and re-listens to The Photo Album for good measure will tell. Listen to the new song below.
