Iggy Pop performs "Real Wild Child" on American Idol

Ordinarily we don’t write about the happenings of reality TV/talent show American Idol because there’s a ton of other sites that do it for us, but last night’s episode contained something so bizarre it’s hard for us to pass up so here it is.

Iggy Pop, the godfather of punk, performed “Real Wild Child (Wild One)” on the show last night. It’s a genuine WTF moment and has set the bar pretty high for the show to bring someone in to boost ratings. At this point we have to feel bad for Steven Tyler who used to be the badass on the block until this, and even his facial expression says it so.
