A clip of some previously unheard Bon Iver sounds sneaked online a few days ago, but it’s only today that anyone’s taking notice.
In a fifty-second teaser clip that’s musically and visually vague, a clip of a song that is presumably from his upcoming album—still untitled but said to be coming out in June—is set to some footage of a painting. Perhaps a Justin Vernon original?
The song itself is promising, to say the least—it sounds stunning, actually, and sorry internet, but we demand more. Please. You can watch and listen to the clip below. Prepare to be left wanting more.
