Watch the trailer for Spike Jonze's Scenes from the Suburbs

While drooling over barbecue and the abundance of bands set to attend the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX this week, those lucky enough to be there will also have the opportunity to catch the North American premiere of Spike Jonze’s “science-fiction B-movie” Scenes from the Suburbs.

The 30-minute film was written by Jonze alongside Arcade Fire’s Win and Will Butler, with the band’s music video for “The Suburbs” acting as its teaser. We’ve got the official trailer posted below, which states a DVD of the short will be available soon.
