Instead of the King of Limbs Pt. 2, an album that hasn’t even been confirmed yet by Radiohead, the next release from frontman Thom Yorke will be in the form of a collaborative single featuring electronic musicians Four Tet (Kieran Hebden) and Burial (William Bevan).

According to Rough Trade, who will be releasing a limited two-track collaborative twelve inch, this “surprise-release is in keeping with all things Thom Yorke: always searching for new ways to sound and to catch his audience unawares.

“Thom Yorke has been a champion of the cutting edge electronica and dubstep scenes from the start and here we see the fruits of three of the most important minds on the contemporary music scene locked together in electronic matrimony. Be quick on this one…”

Sadly those looking to pre-order the single from the label’s website will be upset to know it is ‘temporarily unavailable or sold out.’ Its official release date is March 21 so we can only hope iTunes gets in on this and puts it out digitally.
