Listen to the new Death Cab for Cutie single "You Are A Tourist"

Death Cab for Cutie debuted the band’s new single “You Are A Tourist” in the band’s homebase Seattle on radio station The End 107.7 today. The song is from the band’s upcoming seventh album, Codes and Keys, out May 31.

It’s pretty light and airy sounding and if you bailed on Death Cab after their O.C.-soundtrack days this might not lure you back. If you find something continuously comforting in their indie-lilt, listen away.

At the end of the clip is an in-studio interview with guitarist Nick Harmer, who says the band just got the album’s masters back and that they’re holding onto them tightly so the album doesn’t leak. You can listen to “You Are A Tourist” below.
