Death Cab for Cutie announce North American tour

At the end of May, Death Cab for Cutie will put our their seventh studio album entitled Codes and Keys, which is apparently “a much less guitar-centric album” according to lead vocalist Ben Gibbard.

Before its release (May 31), the band will set off on a short North American tour till early June where they will then head overseas for shows in Europe. Three Canadian dates have been announced thus far in Toronto, Edmonton and Calgary.

Washington band The Lonely Forest are supporting Death Cab, however during the latter dates in Edmonton and Calgary, both bands will be joined by Bright Eyes. View the dates below.

May 18 – Phoenix Concert Theatre – Toronto w/The Lonely Forest

May 24 – Shaw Conference Centre – Edmonton w/The Lonley Forest & Bright Eyes

May 25 – Stampede Corral – Calgary w/The Lonely Forest & Bright Eyes
