Both Blink 182 and Fall Out Boy are two of the bands most associated with getting fans of pop punk off their feet, however one Winnipeg woman was apparently unaware of this and is now suing True North after a crowd surfer fell on her leg causing “permanent disability.”

The Winnipeg Free Press reports Ijdella Vanderklok has recently filed statement of claim against True North Sports and Entertainment after she was “severely injured when a member of the crowd was dropped or fell upon her after or during an incident of crowd-surfing” at a Blink/Fall Out Boy show in August 2009.

Vanderklok claims her injuries were caused by “negligence or breach of duty” for “failing to have adequate security to prevent crowd-surfing.” Her leg allegedly had a fracture from the incident and “suffered permanent disability.” True North has yet to comment on the lawsuit.
