This morning's new music news; Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross won the Academy Award last night for Best Original Score, Frank Turner will release his fourth LP 'England Keep My Bones' in June and the remastered version of Queens of the Stone Age's debut album is streaming online.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross won the Academy Award last night in the Best Original Score category for The Social Network. Their score beat out other works by Hans Zimmer (Inception), Alexandre Desplat (The King’s Speech) and A.R. Rahman (127 Hours). View all of last night’s award winners on the official Oscars website.

Frank Turner will release his fourth full-length album entitled England Keep My Bones on June 7. “The new songs have been going down really well live, but I think that when people hear the studio versions they’re going to go nuts. I really think it’s the strongest set of material I’ve had on one record,” Turner said in a press release. He has one upcoming Canadian date at the El Mocambo in Toronto on April 26. [Exclaim!]

And the remastered version of Queens of the Stone Age’s self-titled debut album is currently streaming online over at NME. It will be released next Tuesday.
