This morning's new music news; TV on the Radio have announced shows in Montreal and Toronto for April, The Strokes will play a free show at SXSW in March and Deerhunter performed "Memory Boy" on Letterman last night.
TV on the Radio will be touring North America this spring starting in Philadelphia on April 8. The band will be playing two Canadian shows in Montreal on April 17 at Metropolis and at Toronto’s Sound Academy the following day. [Exclaim!]
The Strokes have announced they’ll be playing a free show at this year’s SXSW Festival on March 17 at Auditorium Shores Stage. Apparently footage of the performance will be available to view online a day later. [NME]
And Deerhunter performed “Memory Boy” from their latest record Halcyon Digest last night on Letterman. View the clip below.
