This morning's new music news; LCD Soundsystem have added four more dates in New York City after tickets for their "last show ever" sold out in under a minute, Immaculate Machine have split up and The Strokes will perform on SNL in March.

LCD Soundsystem’s have added more farewell shows after tickets for their previously announced ‘last show ever’ sold out in under a minute. Tickets for the four extra dates, taking place March 28 to 31, scheduled at the Terminal 5 venue will go on sale February 18. [Exclaim!]

BC-based band Immaculate Machine, which includes Kathryn Calder from the New Pornographers, have called it quits. The band left a lengthy post on their website detailing the reasons for ending the band. [Immaculate Machine]

And The Strokes will be performing on Saturday Night Live on March 5. It will be the third time the band has performed on the late night comedy show. [Hollywood.com]
