New music from Young Galaxy's upcoming album on Camera Music

Montreal’s Young Galaxy is this month’s X3 Artist of the Month. Vocalist/guitarist Stephen Ramsay recently told AUX that the X3 Artist designation was a welcomed one to coincide with the album’s release on February 8. “It’s a beautiful way to start the proceedings…It feels like people are watching and people care. We have something to live up to, and we relish that position.”

Camera Music tracked the band down in their frigid homebase and kept them safe indoors (or at least in a car) to prevent frozen fingers and broken guitar strings as they played some stripped-down takes of two songs from new album Shapeshifting (“We Have Everything,” “High and Goodbye”) and one from their Polaris-long listed Invisible Republic (“Queen Drum”).
