While we wait for the upcoming Murray Lightburn (of The Dears)-produced album from Toronto rock band The Darcys, here’s a three-song performance to sink into.

Half the band, Jason Couse and Mike le Riche, teamed up with Wood and Wires Productions’ Adrian Vieni to film “100 Mile House,” “Don’t Bleed Me” and “House Built Around Your Voice” at Toronto’s Steam Whistle brewery in the dead of winter. Proving they’re real Canadians, they brave the outdoor patio of the brewhouse for “Don’t Bleed Me” sans coats, hats, or other winter attire.

All three songs will be on the forthcoming Darcys album, which still doesn’t have a name or release date, although it will be out (fingers crossed) sometime this year.
