Liam Gallagher claims Noel stole Oasis songs

You’d think that after the demise of Oasis, the Gallagher bust-ups would come to a close, but contrary to popular belief, the saga continues with a shiny new scandal: according to Liam, Noel is taking old Oasis songs and claiming them as his own.

In an interview with Uncut magazine, Liam claimed the music on Noel’s solo project consists of retreads of tracks that didn’t make the cut on the band’s 2008 record Dig Your Soul Out, maintaining “I’ve heard his fucking new record ’cause I fucking sung on half of it.”

He continued, claiming that Noel “had swiped” songs because “he obviously knew he wanted to do a solo album,” and that his brother’s admittance of being “intimidated” was “fucking nonsense. Behave. The people know. And I know.”

Now if only the Gallagher brothers had Twitter. [via Music-News]
