A new album from Noah Lennox, aka Panda Bear, aka one of the founding members of ‘experimental’ alternative rock band Animal Collective, finally has an official release date after over a year of meandering between dubious release announcements and, at one point, even being canceled.

Consequence of Sound reports that Panda Bear’s fourth album entitled Tomboy will be released on April 19 via Paw Tracks. Although a tracklist has yet to be revealed, a press release has confirmed the singles “Last Night at the Jetty”, “You Can Count on Me” and the title track (obviously) will all be included.

Apparently the tracks on Tomboy have all been newly mixed by Peter Kember, aka Sonic Boom, “to give the album a wonderfully rich and warm sound.”
