If you’ve got anything to say against Diddy, say it now since his latest stint as a bona fide comedian will literally take the words right out of your mouth.

Thanks to a 13-month Twitter campaign led by Chris Gethard (of The Chris Gethard Show), the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy appeared at the New York City’s Uptight Citizens Brigade Theatre on Friday night, and became the subject of jokes that ranged from his excess lifestyle to his temperamental Making the Band persona.

With Gethard having used the Twitter hashtag #diddygethard (get it?) to capture the rapper’s attention, Diddy admitted that at first he “couldn’t understand it”, wondering if it was a “sexual thing” and “was like, ‘what the fuck?'”

But fortunately for Diddy, it was another type of bonding that ensued Friday night, and with it came a platform to comment on the perils of fame and the anxiety faced. Claiming “it can give you gas”, the business maverick went on to encourage audience members to “never stop shitting”, after encouraging Gethard to “follow your dreams”. Also synonymous with “bad boy for life”. [via Rolling Stone]
