U2 will mark the end of their massive 360° Tour in North America with a date this summer in Moncton, New Brunswick with Canada’s own Arcade Fire opening.
The Canadian Press has confirmed Arcade Fire will open U2’s gig on July 30 on Magnetic Hill, which has previously been the site for other acts like The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Bon Jovi and The Eagles.
The last time these two bands performed together was in 2006 when Arcade Fire opened for the Irish vets during their Vertigo Tour. Tickets for the upcoming show go on sale February 8, while hotels in and around Moncton have apparently already begun to sell out when rumors of the show began swirling last week.
