This morning's new music news; Broken Social Scene's show in London tonight has been canceled, a tribute album to Joanna Newsom is available online for download and Peter, Bjorn and John will release their sixth album in March.

Broken Social Scene’s gig tonight in London, Ontario at the Music Hall has been canceled due to “the massive snowfall causing extensive travel delays, closures and cancellations.” The show has been rescheduled for January 16. [Exclaim!]

A tribute album to Joanna Newsom entitled Versions of Joanna is currently available to download at the cost of a donation to Oxfam’s food relief effort in Pakistan. The album features tracks by Billy Bragg, M. Ward, Owen Pallett and many others. [Versions of Joanna]

Peter, Bjorn and John’s upcoming album, their sixth, will be released on March 29 via StarTime International. The record is currently untitled. [Consequence of Sound]
