This morning's new music news; Flavor Flav is set to release an autobiography in March, Pharrell Williams says a new record from the Neptunes is on the way and Bloc Party have reunited for the holidays with a picture to prove it.

Public Enemy hype man Flavor Flav is set to release a autobiography entitled Icon. Amazon says the book will be published March 1 by Farrah Gray Publishing. [Hip Hop DX]

Pharrell Williams has confirmed that a new album from the Neptunes is on the way. In an interview with the Herald Sun, Williams spoke about it saying, “This new Neptunes record we’re working on right now is vicious. It’s definitely harder – it totally demands sweat.” [2 Dope Boys]

And thanks to a picture posted on the band’s twitter page, Bloc Party might be lifting their indefinite hiatus tag and making new music in 2011. The picture shows all four members celebrating the holidays. [NME]
