This morning's new music news; John Lennon's white two-piece suit from the 'Abbey Road' cover is going up for auction, The Dead Weather has released their own deck of cards and Sonic Youth's soundtrack for french film 'Simon Werner a Disparu' has a digital release date.

John Lennon’s white two-piece suit that he wore for the cover of The Beatles’ album Abbey Road will be up for auction on New Year’s Day. Lennon’s dark blazer, which he wore in the “Imagine” video, and a 1972 Chrysler station wagon owned by him and Yoko Ono will also be up for sale. Braswell Galleries will oversea the bidding. The Dead Weather has released their own set of card decks featuring band members as the King, Queen, Jack and Joker. Only 500 packs were made and each are selling for $25 (US) from the band’s webstore.

And Sonic Youth’s soundtrack for the French film Simon Werner a Disparu will be released digitally on January 25 with the CD and vinyl set to follow in February. [Consequence of Sound]
