This morning's new music news; A Nicki Minaj concert in Trinidad and Tobago back in October cost the government an estimated $800,000, Pearl Jam are set to host their own music festival this summer and Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood has released a new score for the film 'Norwegian Wood.'

Trinidad and Tobago’s government has come under fire recently for spending an estimated $800,000 on one Nicki Minaj concert back in October. The country’s Sports and Youth Affairs Minister said the gig helped promote Trinidadian culture. Minaj apparently earned $382,000 for the show and it cost $60,343 for lodgings. [Exclaim!]

Pearl Jam’s manager Kelly Curtis has announced the band will celebrate their 20th anniversary with their very own music festival this summer. No word has been given as to where or when the event will take place, but Curtis said it would not be in the band’s hometown of Seattle. [Guerrilla Candy]

And Jonny Greenwood’s new score for the Japanese Film Norwegian Wood is now available on Amazon Japan. There is no North American release info at the moment. [The Playlist]
