This morning's new music news; Robyn has announced a North American tour for early next year, Joan Baez has been released from hospital after falling out of a tree and Wilco will release their own brand of coffee next month, the perfect Christmas gift.

Robyn has announced she’ll be touring North America early next year with stops in Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City. Her scheduled gig at the Sound Academy in Toronto earlier this month was canceled due to sickness. Her rescheduled show in Toronto will be on January 26 followed by a gig at Montreal’s Metropolis a day later and in Quebec City on January 28.

Folk singer Joan Baez was hospitalized last week after she fell out of a tree. Baez apparently sleeps in a treehouse and on the morning of November 17 she fell while trying to climb down and ended up in Stanford Hospital in California. Baez has since been released and is now resting. [Mercury News]

And Wilco are putting out their own brand of coffee in collaboration with Intelligentsia, a company based in Chicago. Pre orders for the coffee, which will ship December 3, must be made before Sunday at the band’s website. [Exclaim!]
